About the roles
The roles are full-time, 3-4-month, paid internships, ideal for a graduate or someone looking to make their first steps into the digital advertising industry. We have 4 main disciplines:
Operations
The role involves supporting the UK ops team in campaign management, compiling reports for clients and helping to deliver kick-ass campaigns. You will also be assisting the ops team in general duties, analysing campaign statistics and identifying new trends and developments in social video.
About You
- Passionate about online culture and social video
- Active social media profiles
- Excellent written English and communication skills, both on and offline
- Ability to multi-task, organise workload, manage priorities and adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Great attention to detail; analytical
If you’re totally awesome, you’ll also have:

- Your own YouTube account with regular uploads
Media
This role is all about helping to build our extensive publisher network, identifying key environments, and working closely with the publisher services team to develop our reach. In addition, you will be supporting the media team in their management of high volume media partner relationships, monitoring their delivery and identifying any issues.
You will also be creating collateral to educate the sales team and campaign management team about new media opportunities and processes. You will be a main point of contact for Unruly campaign managers, and will be working with them to develop processes and relationships as Unruly continues to grow.
About You:
- Ability to multi-task, organise own workload and adhere to strict deadlines, efficiently managing priorities and remaining calm and productive under pressure
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills both on and offline; able to troubleshoot on the spot and think reactively and creatively to solve problems and answer requests
- Interest in the online landscape – what different audience verticals and demographics are doing online, and where they’re doing it
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with strong analytical thinking
- Good written English with accurate spelling, grammar and attention to detail
- Demonstrable interest in viral culture and/or social media landscape

- Active social media profiles, especially Twitter
- Ability to read and/or write multiple languages
Design
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic and Flash designer join our Design team. You will work on a variety of duties, such as creating internal design communication material, eye-catching presentations and, of course, our breathtaking rich media ECLIPSE units.
About you:
- Confident using Flash and AS3
- Confident using Photoshop
- Knowledge of Illustrator
If you’re totally awesome, you’ll also have:
- Advanced knowledge of AS3
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of Premier
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro
- Knowledge of After Effects
- Knowledge of vectorial illustration
Personal Qualities
- Demonstrable curiosity about online video, social media, web technology and all things Web 2.0
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Flexibility and enthusiasm, willingness to actively solicit feedback and implement client recommendations and changes
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- An online portfolio and/or working examples are required
Marketing
The role involves supporting the marketing team in a number of tasks, including administering the Viral Video Chart, writing blog posts, assisting with event co-ordination and participating in front desk duties. The role comes with training opportunities and the chance to learn about this dynamic industry through hands-on experience.
About You:
- Ability to identify trends and pick up on exciting current content on the internet
- Able to multi-task and prioritise workload while adhering to strict deadlines and working under pressure
- Good writer and experienced in writing blog posts
- Passionate about the Internet
- Strong awareness of social video and meme culture
- Interest in advertising and branding
- Not afraid to muck in and do tasks such as kitchen duty
- A good communicator
- Not afraid to network at events and build bridges
