The link underneath each Unruly Media video that discloses the brand sponsor may be construed by Google as a sponsored link or form of text link advertising. That's fine. Google has nothing against text link advertising. So long as the rel="nofollow" tag is used to prevent Google's spiders from following the link and counting the link as a pagerank-enhancing vote for the page being linked to.
We rigorously comply with Google's guidance on marking sponsored links. All links within the video are marked "nofollow" and if we include hyperlinks within video title or description, we also mark them "nofollow".
What Google hates is sites selling links in order to confer pagerank on the page being linked to. We don't do that.
