SAN FRANCISCO—May 29, 2012— Unruly, the award-winning global technology platform for social video advertising, today announced the appointment of Laura Gaffney as VP, Business Development. Based in the company’s San Francisco office, Laura will report to Art Zeidman, President, Unruly Americas.
In this new role Gaffney will be responsible for securing new partnerships and expanding relationships with the wide array of potential distribution partners for Unruly’s world-class video monetization platform. Currently Unruly boasts more than 14,000 distribution partners globally including leading premium content sites, blogs, mobile and tablet apps, social gaming environments, video discovery and social discovery platforms.
Gaffney brings more than 19 years of digital media business experience; most recently with NetShelter Technology Media where she successfully oversaw the growth and development of the company’s publisher network. In addition she created and managed NetShelter’s non-direct revenue unit, increasing revenues 90% year-over-year.

Her expertise building partnerships across virtually every digital platform will be a key factor as we ‘turn up the volume’ on Unruly’s North American expansion. Since Unruly opened its office in Manhattan’s Flatiron District in February 2011, the North American arm of the London-based company has launched 130+ social video campaigns for blue-chip brands such as T-Mobile, Samsung and Skype. Unruly has also opened new offices in San Francisco and Chicago.
