It has certainly been an incredible few months for Psy. Since its release back in July, Gangnam Style has sent records tumbling, while UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon even hailed it as a "force for world peace".
It has prompted the YouTube star to appear on just about every TV show made. So much so, you would think people would be getting sick of the sight of him.
But Psy's popularity is showing no signs of slowing down, with the South Korean crooner set to don a pistachio-green suit in a Super Bowl spot for Wonderful Pistachios. It's, of course, not the first time that the snack brand has used a YouTube star in their ads.
Keyboard Cat and Nasty-Ass Honey Badger have also brought their own unique skills to the brand, showing how to crack open a pistachio. But Wonderful Pistachios, are obviously, very excited about their latest acquisition.
Marc Seguin, vice president of marketing for the Paramount Farms brand, said: "He's penetrated the cultural consciousness of the United States. We knew the Super Bowl would require something really special to stand out."
It certainly looks like things are shaping up for Super Sunday. Beyonce is the half-time entertainment, models Kate Upton and Bar Rafaeli will also make an appearance in ad spots during the big game, while Deutsch Inc, the agency behind The Force has confirmed that it is creating Taco Bell's Super Bowl spot.
There is also going to be a zombie horde to look forward to after AMC shelled out a record $4million to show the trailer for the new half-season of The Walking Dead.
